Ambro Systems and DENWEL Supply Carbonator to be Installed at Williams Bros
DENWEL, the carbonation specialists, have completed the factory acceptance test on a 50 hl (33bbl) per hour automatic inline carbonation system for Williams Bros in Alloa.

Due to Williams Bros’ contract packaging business, they required a fully automatic state of the art carbonation unit. The system chosen is controlled by a Siemens S7 PLC and operated by user-friendly touch screen panel. A selective inline CO2 analyzer continuously monitors the CO2 concentration. The output signal is processed by the PLC to control the CO2 dosing. A high precision control valve accurately adjusts the CO2 injection avoiding any over or under carbonation.
As with all DENWEL inline units, this carbonator uses their patented Venturi Injector, which disperses the gas into extremely fine bubbles. Most efficient dissolution of CO2 is achieved with only minimal pressure drop, no loss of gas or any volatiles (such as hop aroma) and a fully hygienic design. This technology ensures instant and continuous uptake of CO2 without the need of static mixers, sinter candles or recirculation-tanks.
With the FAT completed, this unit will arrive at Williams Bros imminently, ready to be installed along with their new bottling line.
