Kellas brewery wins New Brewery of the Year Award
Kellas brewery, Mòr Brewing Limited travelled to Nottingham for the Castle Rock Brewing Awards ceremony and came home with the prestigious New Brewery of the Year award.

Castle Rock stocked Mòr ales in most of their pubs throughout England last July. A Castle Rock spokesman said “ we showcase a new brewery each month to give our pub customers a more innovative and diverse choice of beers. It also give new breweries a helping hand both commercially and in public awareness at a time when they need it most”.
Brewing director Jim Hughan said, “it is an honour to win this award and we would like to thank Castle Rock and their customers for this. Ross and I were privileged to be part of the Castle Rock New Brewery project”.
Commercial Director Ross Niven said, “We travelled to Nottingham for the award ceremony and were both astonished and delighted to walk away with the New Brewery of the Year award. We were up against breweries from all over England and Wales and as the only Scottish brewery chosen to be shortlisted and it is a testament to Jim’s brewing skills that we won this”.
