The Three Crowns Receives Brewery Investment
The Three Crowns, Hurdsfield, is toasting to a new look following a substantial investment from Robinsons Brewery and pub licensee Tracy Pascoe.
The pub, located a stone’s throw away from Macclesfield town centre, was taken over by experienced publican Tracy in October 2013 who has since established the traditional inn as a thriving community hub.
Susan Forbes, Business Development Manager of Robinsons said: “I really have to congratulate Tracy on the hard work she has put into the Three Crowns. The pub continues to flourish and has become a hotbed within Hurdsfield. We had been discussing a refurbishment for a while and after speaking with Tracy, we both agreed that the time was right for the Three Crowns to have a makeover.”
Robinsons’ expert builders and designers worked around the clock to ensure that pub would be ready for its grand reopening last Friday.
“The team worked very hard,” said Tracy, “we only had to close for one week as the builders worked around the clock to get it finished!”
The design team picked a fresh colour scheme using a palette of light blues and greens all carefully chosen to complement the bric-a-brac furnishings that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The seating has been upholstered using a series of tasteful patchwork coverings that give the pub a modern feel without losing its country charm.
The main body of the pub is now home to a brand new wood burner which will guarantee it to be a favourite amongst ramblers and cyclists during the colder months.
Along with the new interior, the exterior has been completely transformed with new copper Robinsons signage and an alleyway has been opened up to create access to the Three Crown’s previously hidden rear courtyard that looks over sweeping views of the Macclesfield countryside.
“I am completely blown away by it!” exclaimed Tracy. “The pub looks completely different and our regulars have really taken to it! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Three Crowns, it’s a pub that I am proud to call my home!”
The Three Crowns is now open, Tracy and her team invite customers old and new to celebrate the new look with a pint of Robinsons Cask Ale.
