Demand high for Falmouth Beer
Though not even a year old, the beer is flying out at Falmouth’s Black Rock Brewing.
2014 has seen the fledgling brewery establish itself locally and build a loyal following among drinkers; their flagship beer Black Rock Pale being available the length and breadth of town.
The brewery has recently taken delivery of 100 stainless steel casks to supplement its existing cask stock to allow it to keep up with the high demand.
Brewer and owner, Jack Williams has been delighted with how eagerly his hometown has embraced his beer. “It’s very satisfying strolling through town and spotting our trademark diamond logo all over the place, on pint glasses, pump clips and t-shirts – people really love our beer!”
“The new casks will let us continue to grow and take on new customers in the area – and with events like Falmouth Week and Tall Ships coming up, we’re now fully equipped for a busy summer.”
The brewery gets its name from the navigation mark in Falmouth harbour. It’s striking shape has greeted seafarers and shoregazers alike, since 1837.
