Robinsons Visitor Centre prepares to celebrate at Stockport Summer Festival
Robinsons Brewery are preparing to celebrate the forthcoming Stockport festival with a family fun day at its Visit England accredited Visitors centre.
“The festival is a great occasion for Stockport” said Simon Taylor, Retail Operations Manager for Robinsons Brewery. “We are proud of our local heritage and the opportunity to be part of this festival is one that we jumped on.”
The Visitors Centre will be serving a special menu from 2pm to 6pm on Saturday 30th August with attendees having the opportunity to try three different samples of Robinsons ales alongside a selection of bar tapas dishes including favourites such as fresh pork and leek chipolatas, hand reared pork pies and lip-licking ginger and honey chicken wings.
On the following day, Sunday 31st August, the Apsley Street attraction will also be inviting families to take part in quizzes and gingerbread ‘horse’ decorating to celebrate the arrival of their new Shire horse Wizard. Animal lovers will also have the opportunity to meet and greet brewery Shire horses Trooper and Wizard and learn more about the illustrious history of these gentle giants.
Closing, Simon said: “This is a great opportunity for anyone who hasn’t visited Stockport before to come and see the community spirit of our town. We hope everyone will make time to visit the brewery and enjoy a pint of Robinsons’ award winning cask ale.”
