Elgood’s Brewery Beer Festival
Local Beers, Food, Music and a chance to be filmed
25th – 27th September 2014
Independent family-run regional brewer Elgoods, based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, is hosting its popular beer festival in conjunction with SIBA East (Society of Independent Brewers) from the 25th-27th September 2014. The event coincides with the nationwide Cask Ale Week celebrations where breweries are opening their doors to the public.
150 beers from local East Anglian brewers will be available to sample including Elgood’s new fruit and Lambic-style ales. Barbecue food will be available and live bands will be playing each evening. The event will be housed within the beautiful four acre gardens of the Brewery which incorporates specimen trees, herbaceous borders, a lake, rockery, water features, herb gardens and a maze.
A film crew will be attending the event to capture a new type of reusable glass, the material of which has been developed by a cousin of the Elgood family. The company filming (http://www.innovationlab.eastman.com) will use footage from the beer festival to include in a promotional video about the new glass that will be shown worldwide.
