New vehicles help Dartmoor Brewery drive sales
Dartmoor Brewery took delivery last week of four very distinctively branded new vehicles. The new vehicles, three Ford Fiesta’s for the sales team and one Ford Transit for deliveries, will form an important role in helping the Brewery with its sales and marketing strategy. The Brewery were keen to use a local supplier and were pleased that Vospers in Plymouth, whom they had successfully dealt with before, came up with the most competitive price.
Last year the brewery rebranded, drawing on its strong Dartmoor provenance and its pride in brewing within the National Park as the main part of the design influence. Part of this rebranding was new pump clip designs for its core brands of Jail Ale, Legend and Dartmoor IPA and these are showcased with the Company logo, the judge’s head, on the new vehicles. The Brewery’s best selling and most famous brand, Jail Ale features strongly on the three sales team vehicles. Proud of its Dartmoor heritage the Brewery has “ unlock the Dartmoor flavour” and “ the true taste of Dartmoor” as key strap lines in its branding strategy.
Head Brewer, Mike Lunney commented: “ We are so pleased with the look of the new vehicles. The design was very much a team effort. It is the first time that our all our sales team will have branded cars and it marks a significant stage in the growth and development of the Brewery. This latest investment is an exciting opportunity to help us raise awareness of our brands throughout the Southwest and across the region”
Dartmoor Brewery is the second largest in Devon and is situated in Princetown at the heart of the National park. It is the highest brewery in England and produces over 3.2 million pints a year. Against strong competition the Company has enjoyed good sales growth in recent years and continues to develop and expand.
