Lincoln Green Brewing Company has taken to the tanks to brew this years’ most charitable ale
Weardy Beardy is a pale, American hopped beer designed with the assistance of Chris Hill, a heavily bearded gentleman with a great cause in mind and a touching story behind it all.
Along with Lincoln Green, Chris has brewed this fine ale and will be donating 10p for every pint sold to Bowl Cancer UK.
This journey began when Chris’ father, Terry Hill was diagnosed with bowl cancer in 2011. The beer is inspired by all things great about cask ale and the name, by the truly impressive beard Chris has grown over the last year in conjunction with his beer journey.
Weardy Beardy is a truly fascinating beer to accompany a truly sincere cause. Simply drink beer and donate in doing so to Bowl Cancer UK. Pick up a pint of it at the Robin Hood Beer festival at the Lincoln Green stall, or pay a visit to one of our pubs; The Robin Hood (AND) Little John or The Sir John Borlase Warren. The beer will also be sold to many other free houses throughout Nottinghamshire
