Assistant Brewer We are Magpie Brewery. A fun, sociable, and passionate team, we seek a keen beer enthusiast excited to take their next career step! This is the perfect opportunity for home brewers wanting to increase their knowledge, nano brewers looking to scale up, or for those seeking an entry point into our wonderful industry. Your competitive pay comes with a pension, beer allowance and training plan. Our long-established brewery and taproom is located beside the grandeur of Notts County FC’s Meadow Lane stadium in Nottingham NG2. Our 20bbl kit, 500L pilot kit, office, cold-room, canning line, and on-site bar are spread across three units on a small business estate with parking and all within a 10-minute stroll of Nottingham’s city centre & transport links. Well known for our traditional English ales, we’ve more recently evolved to develop our own take on an array of beer styles using international ingredients & modern approaches whilst retaining our signature. We’re also extremely proud to hold onto our strong ethos as a green and sustainably run business, supporting the local community and drinks trade. Since 2007 we’ve played significant parts in enabling brewing talent, taking great pleasure in knowing that many of our brewers and collaborators have gone on to successfully develop their own brands & enterprises – Magpie Brewery is a fantastic proving ground!
