Account Manager

Campervan Brewery is going through an exciting period of growth. Having received industry praise for creating Extra Black, Scotland’s first Gluten Free Nitro Porter and being awarded Scotland’s Small Brewery of the Year 2023, it is the perfect time to join the team. The brewery has just undergone a phenomenal expansion, allowing the production of even higher quality beers in a more efficient way.
Due to this growth, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager with a passion for craft beer to join our team. This is a hands-on role within an exciting and innovative business with scope for the successful candidate to help shape the development of Campervan Brewery and to drive change. The successful candidate must have previous experience within sales and marketing teams, customer services and in a brand ambassador role.
We’re looking for someone to take the driving seat to bring Campervan Brewery on new journeys, further afield from our home in Leith, helping to fi nd new exciting customers to work with. Reporting to our management team, you will be responsible for managing our customer base (primarily in Scotland but also around the UK).

Key Responsibilities:
Managing/maintaining existing relationships with trade accounts (both on-trade and off -trade)
Expanding Campervan Brewery sales across Scotland and the UK
Overseeing the management of online selling platforms (e.g. Sellar, Eebria)
Working with the Head Brewer and marketing team to support the launch of new products
Identifying and building relationships with businesses with similar ethics as ours
Ensuring our customers are given the best customer service both in person and via email/phone
Completing all necessary sales reporting and forecasting as required
Host hospitality staff training, beer events and be a brand ambassador for Campervan Brewery
Ownership of sales targets and personal development plan
Building strong relationships with our brewery team and taproom/bar teams
The ideal candidate should have:
A minimum of 1 year sales/account management experience within the drinks industry
Strong customer service skills
The ability to be self-suffi cient, take the initiative and have pride in their work
Understanding and a passion for the craft beer sector – or the desire to learn more about it
Great communication and organisational skills
IT literacy and experience of using MS Offi ce and CRM
Resilience, drive, motivation and ambition to develop Campervan Brewery
Clean driving license
Demonstrate a passion for our brand and what we stand for
