We have an exciting opportunity for a hard working, conscientious person with a passion for beer to join us as a Sales Manager in Norfolk. With a focus on sustainable growth and quality products we require an experienced sales person to join the team. The role will focus on sales and account management but, like all members of our small team, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved with all aspects of the brewery. You will also participate in organising and representing the brewery at tasting events, festivals and collaborations.
Ampersand Brew Co is a small family run brewery founded in 2017 based in Diss, South Norfolk. We brew a diverse range of beers across cask, keg and can packaging formats, which we distribute both locally and across the UK. We have steadily grown year on year since we were founded with a focus on brewing high quality products and running an ethical business.
Role:
- Work to strengthen relationships with our existing customer accounts whilst seeking out new opportunities within our local area
- Work with existing wholesale partners across the UK, and identify new markets
- Manage our permanent line accounts and work towards growing the number of permanent Ampersand lines across the local area.
- Use our bespoke brewery management software to input and record day to day sales, manage CRM tasks, and prepare weekly sales lists
- Organise and manage events such as tap takeovers and brewery showcases to help drive sales and promote Ampersand
- Keep an up to date sales forecast to help production planning
- Manage stock levels across selling platforms
- Assist the team in fulfilling orders & building shipping pallets
- Participate in QC checks and regular reviews of product
- Log and organise feedback from customers to feed into production meetings
- Assist in the marketing of the brewery and products
- Represent the brewery at festivals, events and collaborations
Education & Skills :
- 2+ years of experience in beverage sales, ideally in beer
- A good communicator able to build long term relationships with our customers
- Good IT skills with a working understanding of spreadsheets
- Conscientious, good time management with great attention to detail
- Enjoy being part of a busy, hard-working team and able to muck in when required
- Ability both to manage your calendar and day-to-day planning, and look at long term strategic plans
- A passion and knowledge for good beer
- A willingness to learn and develop
- A full clean driving licence
