SIBA, represents around 750 British independent craft brewers across the UK, our vision is to deliver the future of British beer as the voice of British independent brewing. SIBA also represents 250 supplier businesses – from hop merchants and maltsters, container suppliers and brewery fabricators to business and legal advisors.
SIBA is the one stop shop for Independent Craft Breweries and are committed to ensuring that our Members are equipped in all areas to run a successful Brewing business. With access to a range of benefits from Government lobbying, entry into our beer awards, a Legal Portal, access to market, business advice and Tools, practical guides, legislative advice right through to Exclusive services provided by our Supplier Associate Members.
SIBA Membership Categories
Whether you are a home brewer, a full brewer, a contract brewer, an International Brewer or about to commence brewing we have a membership category for you. We also welcome Suppliers to the Brewing Industry to come on board and advertise their services to our members. - Brewing Membership
Brewing Membership is applicable to Brewery Businesses who hold a HMRC Brewing Licence.

Brewing Membership Subscription Rates
For each level, there is a flat-rate fee plus a charge per hectolitre above the base level.

- Brewery Associate Membership
Brewing Associate Membership is applicable to businesses who meet the following criteria
Contract/Cuckoo Brewer – A person/business who do not have their own Brewing Licence but brews/contracts the production of their brands on another Brewers Kit
No/Low Alcohol – A business producing low/no alcohol beers and does not require a Brewing LicenceBrewery Associate Membership Benefits

Not Yet Brewing Membership is applicable to businesses who have yet to commence Brewing and/or do not have a HMRC Licence but do plan to Brew in the next 12 months.

- Homebrewer Membership
Are you a homebrewer wanting to improve your brewing skills? For £50 a year become part of the growing group of Homebrewers within SIBA.
- Supplier Associate Membership
Supplier Associate Membership is applicable to those Brewing businesses who play the valuable role in offering services to the Brewing Industry. This could be anything from equipment right through to advice.
