We are a family run brewery based in the Cotswolds where we have been brewing in the shadows of Sudeley Castle for over 30 years. We are a small team that has a real hands on approach & a quality first ethic. Our core range of multi award winning beers are traditional in style, whilst each month we produce a unique one off brew that is fun & quirky. We have recently upscaled to a 20brl plant & have exciting plans for the next 12 months both in terms of range and looking to work towards kegging on-site.
We are now seeking a Head Brewer to join us who has a can-do attitude, has a love of cask ale and is ready to take a leading role in our brewing operations. You will have great attention to detail, be well organised & happy to work collaboratively. We are a small team and we all pull together to produce great beer
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for all brewhouse, including all functions relating to brewing & packaging & storage of raw ingredients & finished product.
- Ensure the cleanliness, efficiency & functionality of brewhouse kit.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety.
- Take pride in the beers we produce & have a keen eye for detail.
- Seek continuous improvement to our product & processes.
- Promote a clean & organised working environment.
- Ensure all brewing records are maintained.
- Manage our 3rd party packaging suppliers.
About You:
- Minimum 3 years brewing experience some of which in a senior role.
- A relevant brewing qualification is preferable.
- Proficient in using Breww desirable.
- An understanding of SALSA would be advantageous.
- Forklift license desirable but not essential.
We offer a competitive starting salary of £30K to £32K depending on experience. Beer allowance, team discount, brewery socials, snazzy kitchen.
