Sales & Account Manager (North East)

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic field based salesperson to sell an enviable list of core and weekly rotational beers in keg, cask and small package along with a composite drinks portfolio including spirits and soft drinks.

You must live on territory and have experience selling drinks, ideally beer. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with customers in the field. You will represent our brand and products, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and support. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively.
Join our dynamic and fast paced wholesale business as we rapidly expand our routes to market, warehousing, breweries and bar estate. We brew, buy and sell the best beers. We also operate and manage an enviable supply chain of highly trained dray people. We are independent – free to buy, sell and produce the best products and you will influence that!
Duties
- Sell our range of drinks that includes beers, spirits and soft drinks.
- Engage with potential and existing customers to promote our products and services.
- Identify new sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate and close sales deals effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the office team to align sales strategies with promotional activities.
- Provide feedback to influence the beer and drinks we buy.
- Help the finance team manage debtors.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple accounts and tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated drive and motivation to achieve sales goals.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with clients.
- Experience in beverage sales.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure beneficial agreements for both the company and clients.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director there will be no corporate processes to get in your way. You will also work very closely with our buyer, warehouse and transport manager, brewers and finance in order to make quick decisions.
