Sales Representative
Location: Northampton About Us: Phipps Northampton Brewery Company is a well established, 15bbl brewery and distillery. Since our return to brewing in 2008 we have built a solid business based on our glorious golden session IPA, the county’s favourite pint. As we head towards 2025 we are planning to build on our heritage reputation, expand and diversify with a new brewing team and new products. We are looking for a Sales Manager or Representative who understands the trade and our unique place within it and who is comfortable dealing with the diverse range of outlets we serve. Role Overview: You will become a part of the tight team that drives this business, responsible for nurturing the existing relationships as well as prospecting for new accounts and sales opportunities both locally and nationally. Part of the job will be office based, part on the road. We also encourage everyone to pitch in together working flexibly and co-operatively, especially during busy times such as the Northampton County Beer Festival where Phipps plays a major role. Requirements: Proven experience in sales. Understanding of the brewing and hospitality industry. Based locally to us in Northamptonshire Clean driving license Computer and IT proficiency is essential as your main tool will be the Brewman sales system in addition to general office software and social media. Hours: We are focussed on finding the right person so rather fitting them into a five day week, 9 to 5 formula, we are happy to look at flexible working, full time or part time. Benefits: A competitive salary will be dependant on experience and preferred hours worked, from full time to a few days a week. This is a target lead job with attached bonuses based on results with a £30k p/a expected pro rata basic.
