Role Overview
Werewolf Beer is “An American Brewery in London” producing high quality craft beers based on classic US styles. Our balanced, visually pleasing brews are wrapped up in a passionate embrace with all things creepy and rock ‘n’ roll!
Our brewery and taproom rose up in 2022 and has become a Camden Town destination-of-choice for our dedicated fan-base. Our regulars include US expats, tourists, horror fans, craft beer aficionados and subculture kids-at-heart from psychobilly, metal and punk to country and Americana. Kitted out with vintage ghost train rides, spooky props and jukebox, our taproom is the place to celebrate Camden’s alternative vibe and creepster credentials. You don’t need to be from the USA, but you’ll need to happy in an environment steeped American culture and at times actual AMERICANS!
To support our expansion plans, we are looking for a dedicated Taproom Lead and Beertender to drive onsite sales, ensure excellent customer experience and wrangle bookings and events.
This is a starting salary and role is expected to grow with the company and include an annual salary increase.
Role Responsibilities and Activities
In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Stock management and control of wastage
- Driving of onsite sales
- Cleanliness and hygiene of bar/cellar, taproom and beer garden
- Delivery of excellent American style customer service
- Act as DPS and ensure licensing objectives are met
- Maintain beer menus/boards onsite and digital
- Manage occasional part time staff
- Planning around local Camden music events
Your day-to-day taproom activities will include:
- Opening/closing duties
- Cleaning and maintenance of bar, toilets and beer garden
- Expertly pouring beer for our customers
- Stocking/ordering draft products, guest beers/drink, snacks and merchandise
- Working with director and other organizers to make onsite events happen
- Draft/tap cleaning and maintenance

- Report directly to our brewery founder/director
- Work with the local community to ensure positive engagement
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous hospitality/bar management
- Self-starter with great prioritisation skills
- Personal license holder
- Reliability and responsibility
- Attention detail in all things, especially cleanliness
- Confidence to both educate and manage our customer base
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift and carry
- Understanding of American Style customer service expectations
- Knowledge of both the modern craft beer landscape and niche communities; horror fans, expats, alternative music subcultures
- Beer knowledge (Cicerone etc) desired
- Excellent time management (includes knowing when moon is/will be full!)
The Package
o £28,000 base salary PA
o Bonus structure

o Hours from 36 to 42 hours per week
o Wednesday to Sunday plus bank holidays and seasonal events
o Taproom closing 9pm
